Gran Vía is part of the Great History of Madrid. It is part of its cuisine, memories, flavors, smells, and is in the memory of its people and everyday strollers.
The Parrilla de la Reina has opened its doors under the memory of the Gran Vía stories, with the selection of a good raw material and a close and friendly service in the restaurant.
Its views to one of the most historic streets of Madrid and its colorful design, make it possible to enjoy at any time of the day a traditional ‘aperitivo’, a meal in good company or a first drink at nightfall.
‘Taberna’: typical establishment of the Villa of Madrid that besides dispensing drinks, works as an affordable and informal restaurant in which traditional «homemade» food is served without frills.
Taverns are alcoholic & gossip service stations, humor hospitals…they exist since 1700 a.C.
The first tavern had the following inscription on the door: «Venite ad me omnes qui stomacho laboratoratis et ego restaurabo vos». «Come to me all those whose stomachs cry anguished, that I will restore them»
